We Have The Meat!

Welcome back to the Farscape Farm blog. This November, we have managed to stay incrediblybusy despite our produce being tapped out. Two weeks ago, we took all of our young livestockdes?ned for the butcher, to the slaughterhouse for processing. I really wish there was a goodeuphemism for slaughterhouse, but I believe that it is important to acknowledge what we aredoing. In any case, the processing takes a couple of weeks.

FF Sauteed Kale with Crasins and Pecans

INGREDIENTS Ingredients: 2 pounds of fresh dino kale 2 handfuls of chopped pecans 2 handfuls of crasins extra virgin olive oil  salt and pepper hot honey Juice of 1/2 large lemon Directions: Strip kale leaves from stems, blanche for 3 minutes and drain.
